VERNA JONES Verna Jones, 65, a retired floral designer, of Las Vegas, died May 12, 2008. She is survived by her children, Shannon of Dallas, and Chuck of Seattle. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the SPCA.

Vernadene (Trawick) Jones, age 66, passed away Monday May 12, 2008 at 2:00 A.M., in Las Vegas, NV of respiratory failure. Children Shannon and Chuck were able to spend Mother’s Day with her, staying at her side until the very end. Verna’s wish was to be cremated. It is believed the prayers offered up for her helped to carry her from the pain and suffering of this life to a life of sweet bliss with our Lord.
