Randall remained in contact with me these last 40 years, but there were some things we never
talked about. There are many memories of Randy, but to know him is to say, his first and
foremost attribute was his love and devotion to his late wife, Nancy. After a year's battle,
she died of cancer in November, 2000. The next year, Randall's father died in June, 2001 and his
mother followed in death 3 month's later in Sept, 2001. All three death's would be enough for
anyone, but the loss of Nancy caused him to lose his desire to live. He suffered alone, by choice,
and is believed to have died of alcohol and smoking. He left behind his brother, Gaylon and
Nancy's sister, Peggy. They tried to help him in his depression, but he eventually pushed them
away. Believe me, they tried to help him many, many times.
