My name is Jeb Brooks. I am Leroy Gene Brook's oldest son. As some of you may or may not know Dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer about three years ago. The Doctors had given Dad six months to a year to live, fortunately he had lived long past their expected time. Dad along with Priscilla(who have since married)moved up here to Everson, WA. to live out the rest of his days with his two sons. My brother, Keith and I were very grateful and blessed to have Dad living here close to us. During the course of his time here he got to see his four geat grandaughters, all who were born after he came up here. The picture above was taken on August 20, 2009. From left to right in the back row you have my brother Keith and his wife Kristi, my wife Roxie with my daughter Heather holding Marissa and next to her is Stephanie who is the wife of my son Robert. Sitting to the left of Dad is Heather's husband Manny who is holding their other daughter MacKenzie. And at Dad's feet celebrating their second birthday is Bobby's and Stephanie's twin girls Halley and Avery. Priscilla was taking the picture and regrettably, I am not present for I had to work.
Dad passed away on Friday the 4th of September as comfortably as we could make it for him. Priscilla (Mom) has done a wonderful job taking care of Dad and we are very grateful that she was here to take care of him.
